Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Pharmacist at KIMSHEALTH located in Trivandrum. The role involves preparing, managing, and dispensing medications to patients as per prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and patient safety. Responsibilities include providing guidance on the correct usage of medications, monitoring patient interactions with medicines, responding to inquiries, and staying compliant with healthcare laws and regulations. The Pharmacist will also collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and maintain accurate records of all dispensed prescriptions.
Qualifications
- Pharmacological knowledge and understanding of drug interactions and side effects
- Proficiency in prescription review, medication dispensing, and inventory management
- Strong communication skills to counsel patients regarding medication usage and potential risks
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate medication records and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Ability to collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals
- Relevant licensure or certification in Pharmacy is required
- Prior experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy is a plus
- A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or PharmD is preferred
